A novel extruder
A new look at an old favourite
Having looked at the other extruders, we decided to go for ease of use, ease of loading and ease of cleaning.
Extruders of conventional design can be a bit awkward to load, rather hard work to use and a nuisance to clean out. To cure this we have developed a completely new arrangement for extruding. The compact design can be bench, table or shelf mounted as the handle is not right at the top of the machine. All the clay-contacting bits are easily removable and accessible. By using a hydraulic jack the extruding effort is greatly reduced.

These extruders come complete with 100mm (4") and 150mm (6") round die holder plates and a "credit card holder" insert for the smaller dieholder. They also have a die to produce a solid 15mm extrusion and a die for a 25mm circular hollow section.
We have a number of dies available as standard patterns.

Cathy D'Arcy uses one of our extruders to make her ceramic animals. She kindly helped us shoot a video of her using the extruder to make her fabulous cats. We hope to bring more videos of our users when we get the chance.
